The Human Question · About us
A very human starting point.
Helping people approach artificial intelligence with curiosity, confidence, and room for what matters most.
The Human Question was founded in the spring of 2023, when Rob Gonzales first used OpenAI’s ChatGPT. He recognized the beginning of a technological revolution that could change how people learn, work, and create—and immediately began writing Where AI Fits.
That first encounter inspired a larger mission: help people understand artificial intelligence while keeping human judgment, dignity, and purpose at the center. We hope our founder’s journey inspires others to ask questions, explore new possibilities, and begin their own.

One question can start a journey.
For Rob Gonzales, that journey began with trying ChatGPT in the spring of 2023. Writing Where AI Fits became a way to explore what this change means for our lives—and how we can meet it with hope and thoughtful action.
His recently released book invites readers to consider where AI belongs, and where our own judgment remains essential.
Still learning. Still human.
