Submit Your Perspeictive

Sharing your ideas is a way to make a difference. We can’t assume everyone knows how others are using AI to make their work and lives more effective. Your perspective helps close that gap. See submission rubric below.

Format: Please use Arial, 12-point font, and double-space your document. Add page numbers centered at the bottom of each page.

Title and Author: Start with a clear title at the top, followed by your name and affiliation.

Brief Summary: Include a short summary between 150-250 words (similar to an abstract).

Main Document: Perspectives are designed to read like thoughtful blog essays. Most submissions are 800–1,200 words and should be readable in one sitting. The perspective should stand on its own without tables or figures. Supporting materials (references, tables, figures) belong in the online appendix.

Online Appendix: Please submit a second document labeled “Online Appendix.” This document will be hosted separately from the main perspective and is optional for readers.

  • To ensure consistency across submissions, please organize the appendix in the following order and clearly label each section exactly as shown below:

    • References
List any sources cited in your perspective. References should be formatted in Chicago style. If no references are included, please write: “None.”

    • Tables
Include any tables referenced in your work. Each table should be clearly labeled (e.g., Table 1, Table 2). If no tables are included, please write: “None.”

    • Figures
Include any figures, images, or visual materials referenced in your work. Each figure should be clearly labeled (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2). If no figures are included, please write: “None.”

If a section does not apply to your submission, please still include the section header and indicate “None.” This helps us maintain consistency across all published perspectives.
