Your next moves

Make the lesson yours.

  1. Walk and recall what you learned without looking it up.
  2. Open the Unplugged Break below. The short video introduces the activity; allow time to complete it away from your screen.
  3. Compare your recall with your notes and identify the next practice target.
  4. Complete the chapter reflection and save your portfolio work. Your instructor may run the chapter game and quiz separately.

Your activity / Right here

Bring a notebook. Begin below.

The activity is included on this page. Work on paper or in your own document; keep your first attempt and the evidence you checked.

Luna's Unplugged Break

Luna says: dogs don't scroll. No phone. About 15 minutes.

Take a walk, inside or outside. Along the way, say three things you learned this week out loud, from memory. If you get stuck, keep walking and try again. Check your notes only when you get back.

Why it matters: pulling a memory out with no screen is the same move that won the one-week test in the retrieval experiment.

Values Check

Look at the core values you wrote in Chapter 2. Which one does honest studying protect: Learning, Honesty, Excellence, or another? Write one sentence about how your quiz master rules protect it.

Exit Ticket

One thing I will keep human this week, and why:

Pause & reflect

What changed in your thinking?

Write one sentence in your notebook. Name what you checked, what you chose, or what you want to explore next.

Read the video transcript

Read along, pause, or return to an idea. This transcript follows the selected lesson video.

Hi, I'm Luna. Dogs don't scroll. We walk. Here's your challenge. Leave your phone behind and take a fifteen minute walk, inside or outside. Anywhere safe works. Somewhere along the way, say three things you learned this week out loud. From memory. No notes. Why out loud? Because pulling a memory out, with no screen to help, is what makes it stick. Stuck? Keep walking and try again. Then check your notes when you get home, and notice what you remembered and what you missed. See you next chapter.
Before you use an AI tool

Follow your course or institution's rules. Use an instructor-approved tool that permits your age, and meet any required consent conditions. Keep names, contact details, school records, and other private information out of prompts. Use fictional examples when you can.

Learning without an AI account

Follow the demonstration, pause before each answer, and do the reasoning on paper. Discuss what you would ask, how you would check it, and which decisions would remain yours.
